Let’s get cracking!

Hi all-there’s been a lot going on since the wonderful bulb planting in December.

Firstly, lots of park users have been curious about what’s happening in the park- which is great. Secondly, we’ve made contact with really helpful people- including the council park rangers, the Barleymow tenants and residents association, a local school and a tree specialist.

Finally, we’ve been working on the all important paperwork! So we’ve now got:

A draft constitution

A Green Flag management plan

An inaugural meeting agenda

Plus we are looking at setting up a bank account

This means it’s time to officially relaunch Friends of Ropemakers Fields and hopefully lots of people will sign up….

More info once we book a space but provisional dates are evening of 23 or 24 Feb, in a Limehouse venue.

In the meantime it’s great to see some bulbs popping up already!
