Hello everyone - this is a draft vision statement - to discuss at meeting Friday with Tower Hamlets Council and Friends of Limehouse
The Friends of Ropemakers Fields are working to improve and protect our very special park. It’s early days but we have a clear vision of what to achieve and we hope you will join us.
In these times of climate change everyone has become more aware of the importance of biodiversity and the need to protect wildlife. And the pandemic has shown us the importance of both physical and mental health. Finally we recognise, celebrate and embrace our richly diverse community and we are a fully inclusive group, respecting and listening to all voices in our community.
Vision statement
1. We work to protect, improve and support the biodiversity of Ropemakers Fields and surrounding spaces
2. We support the physical and mental health of all park users
3. We are an inclusive and diverse space
